ดิฉันได้เจอเสาวณิตครั้งแรกในคลาสวิชาวัดผลสำหรับนิสิตป.ตรี ประมาณปี 2007 เป็นนักเรียนที่มีส่วนร่วมในห้องเรียนวิชานี้ทุกครั้ง เลยไม่แปลกใจที่ได้เจอกันอีกครั้งในหลักสูตรป.โท เมเจอร์วัดและประเมินผลการศึกษา ซึ่งเสาวณิตก็แสดงให้เห็นว่ามีความสนใจในด้านวัดผลเป็นอย่างมาก โดยเฉพาะในเรื่องของการวัดทางจิตวิทยา และการประเมินในเชิงการศึกษา ในห้องเรียนเสาวณิตจะแสดงความคิดเห็นและพยายามสืบค้นข้อมูลที่น่าสนใจมาเพื่ออภิปรายกับเพื่อนและอาจารย์เสมอ
เสาวณิตเป็นนักเรียนที่สนิทกับข้าพเจ้า เนื่องจากเสาวณิตได้ทำหน้าที่เป็นผู้ช่วยสอน โดยเป็นทุนที่สาขาวิชาวิจัยและวัดผลทางการศึกษาได้มอบให้แก่นักเรียนป.โท ทุกเทอม ซึ่งเสาวณิตก็เป็นหนึ่งใน TA และได้รับผิดชอบในส่วนของ JRM (Journal of Research Methodology Department of Educational Research and Psychology, Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University) ซึ่งตัวดิฉันเองเป็นบรรณาธิการวารสารนี้ เสาวณิตได้ทำหน้าที่ผู้ช่วยได้เป็นอย่างดี ทั้งส่วนของการอ่านพรูฟงานวิจัย มีส่วนร่วมในการคัดเลือกหัวข้อ ประสานงานกับผู้เขียนและผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ซึ่งทำให้วารสารได้ตีพิมพ์เผยแพร่เป็นผลผลิตของภาควิชาได้ดี
และที่สำคัญคือดิฉันเป็นอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาของเสาวณิตในขณะที่ศึกษาป.โท ซึ่งได้ดูแลทั้งการเรียน และชีวิตส่วนตัว ในส่วนของการเรียนนั้น เสาวณิตเป็นนักเรียนที่ตั้งใจ และมีการติดตามงานเสมอ เป็นนักเรียนในรุ่นปีการศึกษานั้นที่สามารถเรียนจบภายในเวลาที่กำหนดของหลักสูตร (2 ปี) ซึ่งนำความปลาบปลื้มปิติยินดีเป็นล้นพ้นมาแก่ข้าพเจ้าที่ได้เป็นคนให้คำปรึกษาในงานวิทยานิพนธ์จนสำเร็จการศึกษาได้ เสาวณิตได้แสดงให้เห็นถึงความพยายามที่จะเรียนให้จบทั้งๆที่ทำงานหาเงินโดยการสอนพิเศษในขณะที่เรียนไปด้วย ซึ่งเท่าที่เห็นก็เห็นว่าสามารถทำทั้งสองอย่างได้ดีควบคู่กัน
