๒.๒ ให้มีการบูรณาการการปฏิบัติ ของฝ่ายสืบสวนและฝ่ายปราบปราม ในการดำเนินการสืบสวนจับกุมผู้ที่กระทำผิดต่อนักท่องเที่ยว ภายใต้กรอบอำนาจหน้าที่ เช่นคดีความผิดตาม พ.ร.บ.ธุรกิจนำเที่ยวและมัคคุเทศก์ฯ , การก่อความเดือดร้อนรำคาญให้แก่นักท่องเที่ยว และตามนโยบายของรัฐบาล ,สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ , กองบัญชาการตำรวจสอบสวนกลาง และกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬา เช่น ยาเสพติด , การปราบปรามทัวร์ที่มีราคาต่ำกว่าปกติ ( ทัวร์ด้อยคุณภาพ) และการหลอกลวงนักท่องเที่ยวซื้ออัญมณีที่มีราคาสูงกว่าความเป็นจริง เป็นต้น
๒.๓ ขยายความร่วมมือกับหน่วยงานบังคับใช้กฎหมายอื่นๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อจับกุมเอาตัวผู้กระทำความผิดมาลงโทษ
๒.๔ พัฒนาระบบการสืบสวนให้มีความทันสมัย สามารถนำเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศมาประยุกต์ใช้ในการสืบสวนจับกุมผู้กระทำความผิด รวมทั้งมีการพัฒนาบุคลการด้านการสืบสวนให้มีความรู้เกี่ยวกับเทคนิคการสืบสวนใหม่ๆ
๒.๕ พัฒนาระบบฐานข้อมูลอาชญากรรม และข้อมูลที่เกี่ยวข้องในพื้นที่ รวมทั้งมีการบูรณาการฐานข้อมูลกับหน่วยงานอื่นทั้งในและนอกสังกัด สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ
