การดำเนินไปทุกชีวิตในสภาวะการพึ่งพิงเป็นความสัมพันธ์ของสิ่งมีชีวิต 2 ชนิดที่อาศัยอยู่ร่วมกันในธรรมชาติ นอกจากสภาวะความสัมพันธ์ดังกล่าว สิ่งมีชีวิตทุกชนิดจะต้องมีระบบป้องกันตัวจากศัตรู โดยเฉพาะสายตาในการมองสิ่งที่เคลื่อนไหวอยู่รอบๆตัว สัตว์ที่มีสายตาว่องไวในการจับภาพเป็นพิเศษได้แก่ สัตว์จำพวกแมลง เช่น แมลงปอ ผีเสื้อ หรือแมลงวัน จาการศึกษาและสังเกตความเป็นไปของสัมพันธภาพของสิ่งมีชีวิตในธรรมชาติ และความสามารถทางการมองของแมลงในมุมมองต่างๆ ข้าพเจ้าจึงเกิดแรงบันดาลใจนำความคิดดังกล่าวมาสร้างสรรค์เป็นผลงานศิลปนิพนธ์ชุดนี้
