จากการคำนวณปริมาณคาร์บอนเหนือพื้นดินของพันธุ์ไม้แต่ละชนิด พบว่า จามจุรี S. saman มีปริมาณคาร์บอนเหนือพื้นดินเฉลี่ยมากที่สุด (2,964.07 กิโลกรัมต่อต้น) รองลงมา คือ กระถินณรงค์ A.auriculiformis(867.44 กิโลกรัมต่อต้น) และนนทรี P. pterocarpum(528.63 กิโลกรัมต่อต้น) โดยประดู่อังสนา P. indicusมีปริมาณคาร์บอนเหนือพื้นดินเฉลี่ยน้อยที่สุด (119.29 กิโลกรัมต่อต้น) (ตารางที่ 4.4)
