ประวัติ

ชาติเกิดที่จังหวัดสมุทรสาคร ละแวกคลองสุนัขหอน เริ่มเรียนชั้นประถมที่โรงเรียนวัดใหญ่บ้านบ่อ ต่อมาขณะที่เรียนเทอมสุดท้ายของ ชั้นประถมปีที่ 7 จำเป็นต้องไปอยู่กับยาย จึงย้ายไปเรียนที่โรงเรียนเอกชัยในตัวจังหวัดสมุทรสาคร (มหาชัย) เพราะแม่ต้องไปอยู่เรือทรายกับพ่อที่จังหวัดราชบุรี จากนั้นไปเรียนต่อชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ที่โรงเรียนปทุมคงคา กรุงเทพฯ เมื่อ พ.ศ. 2509 โดยอาศัยอยู่กับพระซึ่งเป็นเพื่อนของอาที่วัดตะพานหรือวัดทัศนารุณ มักกะสัน เมื่อจบชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 แล้วได้สอบเข้าเรียนที่วิทยาลัยเพาะช่าง ในสาขาภาพพิมพ์
