การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการศึกษาเพื่อวัดระดับความพึงพอใจในการใช้สถานที่จอดรถยนต์ภายในมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเทพสตรี จังหวัดลพบุรี และเปรียบเทียบความพึงพอใจและความต้องการใช้สถานที่จอดรถยนต์ภายในมหาวิทยาลัย สำหรับการศึกษาครั้งนี้กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี ทุกคณะและทุกระดับชั้นปี จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 400 คน โดยการใช้กลุ่มตัวอย่างด้วยวิธีเจาะจง จากทั้ง 6 คณะ และใช้โปรแกรมทางสถิติ SPSS เพื่อวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลหาค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละ ค่ามัธยฐาน ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า
1) ในภาพรวมแล้ว นักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเทพสตรีมีความพึงพอใจต่อสถานที่จอดรถภายในมหาวิทยาลัยในระดับมากโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งมิติด้านสถานที่ต่อพื้นลานจอดรถมีสภาพเหมาะสมกับการใช้งานซึ่งมีแนวโน้มสูงกว่าด้านอื่นๆ
2) ในด้านความแตกต่างทางเพศระหว่างนักศึกษาเพศหญิงและเพศชาย พบว่ามีความพึงพอใจในสถานที่จอดรถภายในมหาวิทยาลัย ในมิติด้านสถานที่ความปลอดภัยแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 แต่ในด้านความพึงพอใจต่อสถานที่จอดรถยนต์ด้านอื่นๆ พบว่าไม่มีความแตกต่างกัน
3) ในด้านแตกต่างทางด้านอายุพบว่าช่วงระดับอายุที่แตกต่างกันส่งผลต่อความพึงพอใจในสถานที่จอดรถภายในมหาวิทยาลัยต่อด้านสถานที่ที่แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 แต่ในด้านความพึงพอใจในสถานที่จอดรถภายในมหาวิทยาลัยด้านอื่นๆ พบว่าไม่มีความแตกต่างกัน
4) ในด้านความแตกต่างด้านระดับชั้นปีการศึกษาพบว่ามีระดับความพึงพอใจต่อด้านสถานที่สูงทึ่สุด ได้แก่นักศึกษาที่อยู่ในระดับชั้นปีที่ 4 และอันดับที่สองมีระดับความรับผิดชอบรองลงมาได้แก่ระดับชั้นปีที่ 3 แต่ในด้านอื่นๆ พบว่าระดับชั้นปีการศึกษาที่แตกต่างกันมีระดับความพึงพอใจต่อสถานที่จอดรถยนต์ไม่แตกต่างกัน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05
5) ในด้านบริเวณคณะที่ใช้จอดรถยนต์ พบว่ามีความแตกต่างด้านความพึงพอใจต่อด้านสถานที่ และความพึงพอใจต่อด้านความสะดวกสบาย ซึ่งผลการวิเคราะห์แสดงให้เห็นว่าบริเวณที่ใช้จอดรถยนต์ที่แตกต่างกันส่งผลต่อความพึงพอใจต่อระดับความความพึงพอใจต่อสถานที่จอดรถยนต์ทั้ง 2 ด้านแตกต่างกันออกไปอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05
