....เมื่อวันที่ 20 ตุลาคม 2558 ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุชัชวีร์ สุวรรณสวัสดิ์ อธิการบดี สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง พันตำรวจเอกสุศักดิ์ ปรักกมะกุล รองผู้บังคับการตำรวจนครบาล3 และพันตำรวจเอกอรรถวินทร์ เกษแก้ว ผู้กำกับการสถานีตำรวจนครบาลจระเข้น้อย ร่วมเป็นประธานในการเปิด “สถานีตำรวจชุมชน สจล.” ณ สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง
.....ซึ่งสถานีตำรวจชุมชน สจล. เป็นความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง (สจล.) กับ สถานีตำรวจนครบาลจรเข้น้อย จัดโครงการ “KMITL SAFETY ZONE” โดยได้เปิด “สถานีตำรวจชุมชน สจล.” เพื่อดูแลสวัสดิภาพ ความปลอดภัย ลดปัญหาอาชญากรรม และลดอุบัติเหตุต่างๆ เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิต ให้กับนักศึกษา บุคลากร และประชาชนในชุมชนใกล้เคียง รวมทั้งสร้างสรรค์สังคมให้มีความสามัคคีและน่าอยู่ไปพร้อมกัน นอกจากนี้ได้จัดกิจกรรมขับขี่ปลอดภัย มีวินัยจราจร เพื่อสร้างความรู้ความเข้าใจที่ถูกต้องในการขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์ให้ปลอดภัย และถูกกฎจราจร อาทิ ขับขี่รถจักรยานยนต์อย่างมีสติ เปิดไฟหน้า ไม่ดื่มหรือใช้โทรศัพท์ขณะขับรถ สวมหมวกกันน็อค ติดสายรัดคาง ไม่ขับย้อนศร ไม่ขับขี่ซ้อนสาม ซึ่งเป็นนโยบายด้านความปลอดภัยของทั้งสองหน่วยงานที่จะสร้างความมั่นใจกับนักศึกษา บุคลากร และประชาชน เพื่อเดินหน้าสู่การเป็นพื้นที่ปลอดภัย KMITL SAFETY ZONE โดยแท้จริง
