๘ ความไม่เบียบเบียน (อวิหิงสา)
จากอดีตเรื่อยมาจนกระทั่งถึงปัจจุบัน ทุกชีวิตบนผืนแผ่นดินไทยได้รับความร่มเย็นมีความเป็นอยู่อย่างสุขสงบ ภายใต้เบื้องพระยุคลบาทแห่งพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว พระผู้ทรงบำเพ็ญอวิหิงสาบารมี คือ ไม่เบียดเบียนให้ผู้อื่นลำบาก ไม่ก่อทุกข์ยากให้แก่ผู้ใดแม้จนถึงสรรพสัตว์ ด้วยเห็นเป็นของสนุกเพราะอำนาจแห่งโมหะหรือความหลง ไม่ทำร้ายรังแกมนุษย์และสัตว์เล่นเพื่อความบันเทิงใจแห่งตน
ในส่วนที่เกี่ยวกับสรรพสัตว์ พระองค์ไม่เคยทรงกระทำการใดให้เป็นที่ทุกข์ยากเจ็บปวด ไม่เคยมีแม้แต่ครั้งเดียวที่จะเสด็จออกประพาสป่าล่าสัตว์ตัดชีวิต จะมีก็แต่การพระราชทานชีวิตให้เท่านั้น ในรูปของโครงการพระราชดำริต่าง ๆ ที่เป็นไปเพื่อการอนุรักษ์ป่า อนุรักษ์แหล่งน้ำและอนุรักษ์สัตว์ เช่น โครงการอนุรักษ์ป่าและสัตว์ป่า เป็นต้น
การบำเพ็ญอวิหิงสาบารมีของพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ซึ่งแผ่ไพศาลไปทั่วทุกหนแห่ง จึงปกป้องคุ้มครองชีวิตไม่ว่ามนุษย์หรือสรรพสัตว์ทุกชีวิตบนผืนแผ่นดินไทย จึงดำรงอยู่ได้ด้วยความสุขสงบและร่มเย็น
