ในการเดินทางไปทัศนศึกษาค่ายประวัติศาสตร์จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา ข้าพเจ้าและคณะเพื่อนได้เดินทางไปยังสถานที่สำคัญต่างๆของจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา อีกทั้งยังเป็นสถานที่ที่มีประวัติศาสตร์ความเป็นมามากมาย ไม่ว่าจะเป็นวัดไชยวัฒนาราม วัดใหญ่ชัยมงคล วัดสุวรรณดารามราชวรวิหาร วัดพนัญเชิงและตลาดน้ำอโยธยา สถานที่ทั้งหมดนี้ข้าพเจ้ามีความประทับใจมากที่ได้เดินทางไป แต่สถานที่ที่ข้าพเจ้ามีความประทับใจมากที่สุดคือ วัดใหญ่ชัยมงคล
วัดใหญ่ชัยมงคลเป็นหนึ่งในวัดที่มีความเก่าแก่โบราณประจำจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยาที่ถือว่ามีความสำคัญทางประวัติศาสตร์มากที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งในไทย เป็นสถานที่ที่มีความสวยงาม มีความโดดเด่นในด้านของการประติมากรรมและสถาปัตยกรรมต่างๆ อีกทั้งยังสามารถชมเจดีย์ที่สูงที่สุดในอยุธยาอีกด้วย นอกจากนี้แล้ว ข้าพเจ้ายังประทับใจกับบรรยากาศและสภาพแวดล้อมโดยรวม ซึ่งวัดใหญ่ชัยมงคลเป็นสถานที่ที่มีอากาศดี ธรรมชาติร่มริ่น มีต้นไม้ต้นใหญ่ที่คอยให้ความร่มรื่นสามารถนั่งพักผ่อนหย่อนใจได้ ผู้คนและนักท่องเที่ยวต่างมีความเป็นกันเอง มีการทักทายต่อกันและกัน นอกจากนี้ข้าพเจ้ายังได้ขึ้นไปยังเจดีย์ เมื่อมองลงมาแล้วมันเป็นภาพที่ประทับใจมาก เพราะมันสามารถสื่ออะไรได้อีกหลายๆอย่าง ไม่ว่าจะเป็นสังคมเมืองของอยุธยา ภาพสถานที่ทางประวัติศาสตร์ต่างๆและวิถีชีวิตของผู้คนที่ได้มาเยือนที่วัดใหญ่ชัยมงคลอีกด้วย สุดท้ายนี้ข้าพเจ้าหวังไว้อย่างยิ่งว่า ถ้ามีโอกาสก็จะกลับมาเยือนสถานที่แห่งนี้อีกครั้ง และอยากจะเชิญชวนผู้คนให้ได้มาลองสัมผัสกับความสวยงามของวัดใหญ่ชัยมงคล และอยากจะให้ทุกคนได้อนุรักษ์และสืบสานวัฒนธรรมรวมทั้งช่วยกันรักษาสมบัติของชาติบ้านเมืองให้อยู่คู่คนไทยตลอดไป
