โครงงานนี้จัดทำขึ้น โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ที่จะผลิต “กระดานแสดงผลคะแนนกีฬาบาสเก็ตบอล” เพื่อนำไปใช้ในการแข่งขันกีฬาบาสเก็ตบอลโดยใช้ประโยชน์จากไมโครคอนโทรลเลอร์Arduino ในการควบคุมการทำงานของกระดานแสดงผล ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วย คะแนน เวลาการแข่งขัน และ นาฬิกาจับเวลาข้ามแดน ใช้กติกาสากลของกีฬาบาสเก็ตบอลร่วมกับหลักการกดสวิตช์คำสั่งต่าง ผู้รับชมกีฬาสามารถมองเห็นคะแนนของแต่ละทีมได้อย่างชัดเจนเนื่องจากเราประยุกต์ใช้หลอด LED มาจำลองแทนการใช้ 7-Segment ซึ่งออกแบบได้ตามความสะดวกในการใช้งาน และยังราคาถูกกว่าอีกด้วย
