โครงงานวิจัยเรื่องการจัดตารางการทำงานพยาบาล กรณีศึกษาโรงพยาบาลบ้านนาเดิม จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา วิเคราะห์และพัฒนาในการจัดตารางการทำงานพยาบาล ซึ่งเป็นการพัฒนาประสิทธิภาพในการจัดตารางการทำงานพยาบาลให้เหมาะสมภายใต้เงื่อนไขและข้อกำหนด ดำเนินการรวบรวมข้อมูล ประกอบไปด้วย จำนวนพยาบาล ระดับพยาบาล ความสามารถของพยาบาลแต่ละคน จำนวนแผนกที่ต้องจัด ข้อจำกัดและเงื่อนไขต่างๆ โดยการสร้างแบบจำลองคณิตศาสตร์คำนวณหาผลลัพธ์ ซึ่งใช้โปรแกรม Microsoft Excel โดยแก้ไขปัญหาดังกล่าวด้วยวิธี Goal Programming and Multiple objective optimization / Min Load โดยการใช้ Premium Solver ซึ่งทางผู้จัดทำได้ออกแบบแบ่งได้เป็น 3 รูปแบบคือ
1. Goal Programming and Multiple objective optimization/ Min Load จำนวนพยาบาล 20 คน
2. Goal Programming and Multiple objective optimization/ Min Load จำนวนพยาบาล 22 คน
3. Goal Programming and Multiple objective optimization/ Min Load จำนวนพยาบาล 24 คน
จากผลการศึกษาพบว่าหากนำมาเปรียบเทียบหาความเหมาะสม และสอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายที่กำหนด ทำให้ผู้จัดทำได้เลือกแบบที่ดีที่สุดคือ Goal Programming and Multiple objective optimization/ Min Load จำนวนพยาบาล 22 คน
