สถาปัตยกรรม:โบราณสถานภายในวัดอยู่ในสภาพชำรุดทรุดโทรม ประกอบด้วยเจดีย์ประธานทรงระฆังกลม 2 องค์ ตั้งอยู่บนฐานไพทีเดียวกับพระวิหารซึ่งตั้งอยู่ทางด้านทิศตะวันออก จากการสำรวจของกรมศิลปากรเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2501 พบว่ามีพระอุโบสถตั้งอยู่ถัดออกไปทางด้านทิศตะวันออกบริเวณที่เป็นสนามกีฬาของวิทยาลัยครู ซึ่งไม่เหลือหลักฐานแล้วในปัจจุบัน
วัดสิงหารามน่าจะเป็นวัดที่สร้างมาแล้วอย่างน้อยในสมัยอยุธยาตอนกลางก่อนการสร้างวัดบรมพุทธาราม และมีการปฏิสังขรณ์ครั้งหนึ่งในสมัยอยุธยาตอนปลาย โดยพบหลักฐานว่ามีการนำเอาเศษเครื่องถ้วยจีนมาประดับร่วมกับลายปูนปั้นบริเวณซุ้มประตูทางด้านหน้าของวิหาร ซึ่งเป็นลักษณะงานศิลปกรรมที่พบในโบราณสถานที่ปฏิสังขรณ์ในรัชกาลสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวบรมโกศบางแห่ง
