ประเทศไทยเราให้ความสำคัญกับการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษมาตั้งนานแล้ว แต่ทำไมคนไทยถึงพูดภาษาอังกฤษสู้คนประเทศอื่นไม่ได้เลย นั่นก็เพราะว่าหลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษของไทยเรายังไม่ได้เน้นการพูดภาษาอังกฤษ จะเน้นแต่หลักไวยากรณ์ คำแปล และการอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจและให้สอบเข้ามหาวิทยาลัยได้เป็นส่วนใหญ่
