ทำการประมาณมวลชีวภาพเหนือพื้นดินเฉลี่ย และมวลชีวภาพเหนือพื้นดินรวมของแต่ละชนิดพันธุ์ โดยใช้ความสัมพันธ์ในรูปสมการแอลโลเมตรี (Allometric Equation) ตามแนวทางการประเมินการกักเก็บคาร์บอนของป่าไม้ของคณะกรรมการระหว่างรัฐว่าด้วยการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศของ (IPCC, 2006) ซึ่งการศึกษาในครั้งนี้ได้เลือกใช้สมการมวลชีวภาพของป่าดิบชื้นและป่าดิบแล้งในประเทศไทย (Tsutsumi et al., 1983) มาใช้ในการประมาณมวลชีวภาพของต้นไม้ เนื่องจากปัจจุบันยังขาดสมการมวลชีวภาพเฉพาะสำหรับต้นไม้ในสวนสาธารณะ (ชมพูนุช แสนภพ, 2554) โดยสามารถคำนวณได้จากสมการดังนี้
