1.1 การศึกษาก่อนระดับประถมศึกษา เป็นการจัดการศึกษาให้แก่เด็กที่มีอายุ 3 – 6 ปี
1.2 การศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษา โดยปกติใช้เวลาเรียน 6 ปี
1.3 การศึกษาระดับมัธยมศึกษา แบ่งเป็นสองระดับ ดังนี้
- การศึกษาระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น โดยปกติใช้เวลาเรียน 3 ปี
- การศึกษาระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย โดยปกติใช้เวลาเรียน 3 ปี แบ่งเป็นสองประเภท ดังนี้
1) ประเภทสามัญศึกษา เป็นการจัดการศึกษาเพื่อเป็นพื้นฐานในการศึกษาต่อในระดับอุดมศึกษา
2) ประเภทอาชีวศึกษา เป็นการจัดการศึกษาเพื่อพัฒนาความรู้และทักษะในการประกอบอาชีพ หรือ ศึกษาต่อในระดับอาชีพชั้นสูงต่อไป
