ตั้งอยู่ที่บ้านทุ่งเกวียน ต.เวียงตาล อยู่ในความดูแลของฝ่ายอุตสาหกรรมป่าไม้ภาคเหนือ องค์การอุตสาหกรรมป่าไม้ (ออป.) แต่เดิม ออป. เป็นศูนย์ฝึกลูกช้างซึ่งเป็นแห่งแรกและแห่งเดียวในโลก โดยเริ่มดำเนินการมาตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2512 เป็นสถานที่เลี้ยงและฝึกลูกช้างเพื่อให้เชื่อฟังคำสั่งและมีความชำนาญในการทำไม้ขณะที่แม่ช้างไปทำงานในป่า และเนื่องจากมีนโยบายปิดป่าซึ่งทำให้ช้างต้องว่างงาน ศูนย์ฝึกลูกช้างจึงถูกปรับมาเป็นสถานที่ดูแลช้างแก่และเจ็บป่วย และที่นี่ยังเป็นสถานที่ตั้งของโรงพยาบาลช้างด้วย

อุทยานแห่งชาติแจ้ซ้อน



มีพื้นที่ครอบคลุมอยู่ในท้องที่อำเภอเมืองปาน อำเภอแจ้ห่มและอำเภอเมืองจังหวัดลำปาง มีสภาพป่า อันอุดมสมบูรณ์และเป็นแหล่งต้นน้ำลำธาร มีเนื้อที่ประมาณ 592 ตรกม. ได้รับการประกาศ เป็นอุทยานแห่งชาติเมื่อวันที่ 28 กรกฎาคม 2531 เป็นแนวแบ่งเขตระหว่างลำปางและเชียงใหม่ ฤดูที่เหมาะสำหรับการท่องเที่ยวและมีอากาศเย็นสบาย คือช่วงเดือน พฤศจิกายน - กุมภาพันธ์

อุทยานแห่งชาติดอยหลวง
