ดิฉันได้ทำการวิจัยเรื่องการประเมินความต้องการในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษของนึกศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่1 จาก12คนพบว่า นักศึกษาต้องการพัฒนาทักษะการฟังและการพูดมากที่สุด นักศึกษาส่วนใหญ่เห็นความจำเป็นในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อนำไปใช้ในประกอบอาชีพทางธุรกิจ หรือสมัครงาน ดังนั้นต้องการขยายเวลาในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษให้มากขึ้น นึกศึกษามีปัญหาในด้านการเขียนมากที่สุด เนื่องจากมีข้อจำกัดทางภาษา
