บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1. สำรวจปัญหาในการพูดสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษของผู้ประกอบการร้านค้าในจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี 2. สำรวจปัญหาความสามารถในการฟังภาษาอังกฤษ ของผู้ประกอบการร้านค้าในจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี ประชากรที่ใช้วิจัยในครั้งนี้ คือ ผู้ประกอบการร้านค้าในจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี จำนวน 20 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ แบบสอบถาม (Questionnaire) แบบสอบถามจำนวน24ข้อ โดยสถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
จากการทำแบบประเมินทักษะการสื่อสารด้านการฟังและการพูดภาษาอังกฤษจากปัญหาการสื่อสารนั้น ทำให้ทราบว่าปัญหาด้านการสื่อสารของผู้ประกอบการส่วนใหญ่อายที่จะพูดกับชาวต่างชาติและกลัวสื่อสารผิดแล้วผู้ฟังจะไม่เข้าใจ ปัญหาด้านการฟังของผู้ประกอบการส่วนใหญ่ขาดความรู้ด้านไวยากรณ์จึงทำให้เกิดความสับสนในการจับใจความและฟังสำเนียงของผู้ที่สนทนาด้วยไม่ออกและปัญหาด้านการพูดของผู้ประกอบการส่วนใหญ่ คือรู้ศัพท์น้อย ทำให้ไม่สามารถอธิบายในสิ่งที่ต้องการสื่อสารและไม่สามารถออกเสียงภาษาอังกฤษได้ถูกต้องทำให้ผู้ฟังไม่สามารถเข้าใจสิ่งต้องการจะพูด
