องค์กรนิสิตดำเนินงานมีวัตถุประสงค์หลักๆ ดังนี้
1.เพื่อทำหน้าที่เป็นศูนย์ประสานงานระหว่างผู้บริหารคณาจารย์ เจ้าหน้าที่ นิสิตของมหาวิทยาลัยและสถาบันอื่น

3.เพื่อส่งเสริมให้นิสิตรู้จักใช้สิทธิและหน้าที่ของตนเองตามระบอบประชาธิปไตย โดยฝึกและปลูกฝังนิสัยให้มีความรับผิดชอบต่อตนเองและส่วนรวม รวมทั้งเคารพสิทธิและหน้าที่ของผู้อื่น
