ทุกๆ โครงการลงทุนของวิสาหกิจต่างชาติจะได้รับการส่งเสริมการลงทุน
ดังต่อไปนี้
∝ กำไรของวิสาหกิจที่นำไปขยายกิจการที่ได้รับอนุญาต จะได้รับการยกเว้นอากรกำไรในปีบัญชีนั้นๆ
∝ วิสาหกิจต่างชาติสามารถส่งผลกำไร ทุน และรายรับอื่นๆ กลับประเทศของตน หรือประเทศที่สาม โดยผ่านธนาคารที่ตั้งอยู่ใน สปป.ลาวได้ ภายหลังที่ได้ปฏิบัติตามพันธะทางภาษีอากรและค่าธรรมเนียมต่างๆตามระเบียบกฎหมายแล้ว
∝ ได้รับยกเว้นภาษีนำเข้าและอากรที่เก็บจากการนำเข้าอุปกรณ์ เครื่องอะไหล่ พาหนะการผลิตโดยตรง วัตถุดิบที่ไม่มีอยู่ภายใน สปป. ลาว หรือมีแต่ไม่เพียงพอ ผลิตกึ่งสำเร็จรูปที่นำเข้ามาเพื่อแปรรูปหรือประกอบเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์เพื่อส่งออก
∝ ได้รับยกเว้นภาษีขาออกสำหรับผลิตภัณฑ์เพื่อส่งออก
