งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการนำเสนอข้อมูลการวิจัยเชิงทดลองของการเข้ารหัสข้อมูลเพื่อเปรียบเทียบช่วงเวลาประมวลผลการเข้ารหัสข้อมูลและการถอดรหัสข้อมูลของอัลกอริทึมจำนวน 3 อัลกอริทึม. ได้แก่ 1) อัลกอริทึม DES , 2) อัลกอริทึม Blowfish และ 3) อัลกอริทึม AES-128 . 3 อัลกอริทึมเป็นอัลกอริทึมที่ได้รับความนิยม. โดยนำอัลกอริทึมทั้ง 3 แบบ เข้ารหัสข้อมูลมีความแตกต่างกันจำนวน 5 ข้อมูลได้แก่ ไฟล์ข้อมูลชนิดข้อความเพียงอย่างเดียว (.text) ขนาดเท่ากัน จำนวน 2 ไฟล์ แบ่งเป็นไฟล์ภาษาไทย และภาษาอังกฤษ, ไฟล์ข้อมูลชนิดข้อความพร้อมรูปภาพ (.doc) ขนาดเท่ากัน จำนวน 2 ไฟล์ แบ่งเป็นไฟล์ภาษาไทย และไฟล์ภาษาอังกฤษ และสุดท้ายคือไฟล์รูปภาพ (.jpg) จำนวน 1 ไฟล์. โดยทุกไฟล์ข้อมูลจะผ่านการเข้ารหัสข้อมูลและถอดรหัสข้อมูลทั้งสิ้นจำนวน 15 ครั้ง เพื่อหาค่าเฉลี่ยของช่วงเวลาในการประมวลผลการเข้ารหัสข้อมูลและถอดรหัสช้อมูล. จากนั้นนำค่าเฉลี่ยของทุกอัลกอริทึมมาเปรียบเทียบค่าเฉลี่ยของช่วงเวลา เพื่อให้ได้ค่าเวลาที่ดีที่สุดและเหมาะสมที่สุดของการรหัสข้อมูลและการถอดรหัสข้อมูล.
