งานสัมมนานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสังเคราะห์สารอนุพันธุ์ไคโตซานเพื่อเพิ่มความสามารถในการละลายน้ำของไคโตซานให้ดียิ่งขึ้น ซึ่งจะมีผลต่อการประยุกต์ใช้ในทางเภสัชกรรมโดยศึกษาการสังเคราะห์สารอนุพันธุ์ไคโตซานทั้งหมด 4 ชนิด คือ HECs,CH-G-PBT,TM-GN-HT, MEL-OCM และศึกษาประสิทธิภาพการละลายน้ำพบว่าสารอนุพันธุ์ไคโตซานที่มีการดัดแปลงโครงสร้างและมีการดัดแปลงหมู่ฟังก์ชั่น สามารถเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการละลายน้ำได้ คำสำคัญ : การละลายน้ำของไคโตซาน,อะนุพันธุ์ไคโตซาน
