ตั้งแต่ นั้นเป็นต้นมาการแก้ไขปัญหายาเสพติดของประเทศไทยก็ได้ดำเนินไปอย่างมีแบบแผน และเป็นระบบที่ดีขึ้น พระราชบัญญัติดังกล่าวได้กำหนดให้มีคณะกรรมการป้องกันและปราบปรามยาเสพติด หรือเรียกชื่อย่อว่า ป.ป.ส. โดยมีนายกรัฐมนตรีเป็นประธาน และจัดตั้งสำนักงาน ป.ป.ส. ขึ้นเป็นหน่วยงานกลางรับผิดชอบโดยตรง มีฐานะเป็นกรม กรมหนึ่งในสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี ปัจจุบันสำนักกระทรวงยุติธรรม ขึ้นตรงต่อนายกรัฐมนตรี มีหน้าที่ประสานงานกับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการป้องกันและปราบปรามยาเสพ ติดทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ

กิจกรรม วันต่อต้านยาเสพติด
