การวิจัยในครั้งนี้เป็นเป็นการศึกษาวิจัยแบบสำรวจ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการดูแลตนเอง และปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อพฤติกรรมการดูแลตนเองของผู้ป่วยเบาหวานชนิดที่ 2 ในตำบลแร่ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดสกลนคร กลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 120 คน เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติเชิงอนุมาน สัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน
