การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมและเส้นทางท่องเที่ยวของนักท่องเที่ยวแบบภายในหนึ่งวัน (One Day Trip) 2) ประยุกต์ใช้ทฤษฎีระบบการเดินทางขนส่งแบบลดเที่ยวเปล่า (Milk Run) และนำแอพพลิเคชั่นแผนที่ (Google Map) มาใช้ในการจัดเส้นทางการท่องเที่ยวแบบภายในหนึ่งวัน (One Day Trip) ในจังหวัดสมุทรสงคราม กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ได้สุ่มตัวอย่างแบบบังเอิญ โดยใช้วิธีการประมาณขนาดตัวอย่างโดยใช้สูตรของทาโร่ ยามาเน่ จึงเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจำนวน 205 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ 1) แบบสอบถาม โดยเก็บข้อมูลด้านพฤติกรรมของนักท่องเที่ยว 2) แบบบันทึกข้อมูล โดยเก็บข้อมูลด้านสถานที่,ระยะทาง และระยะเวลาในการเดินทางท่องเที่ยว 3) แอพพลิเคชั่นแผนที่ (Google Map) นำมาใช้ในการค้นหาสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว เส้นทางและระยะเวลาในการเดินทาง โดยจะพบว่านักท่องเที่ยวนั้นยังขาดการวางแผนเส้นทางในการท่องเที่ยวจึงทำให้เสียเวลาไปกับการเดินทางและทำให้การท่องเที่ยวไม่เกิดความคุ้มค่า ผู้วิจัยจึงนำแนวคิดทฤษฎีระบบการเดินทางขนส่งแบบลดเที่ยวเปล่า (Milk Run) และนำแอพพลิเคชั่นแผนที่ (Google Map) มาใช้ในการจัดเส้นทางการท่องเที่ยวแบบภายในหนึ่งวัน (One Day Trip) จากนั้นจึงทำการสรุปผลการศึกษาและหาข้อเสนอแนะ เพื่อตอบวัตถุประสงค์ตามที่ตั้งไว้ในลำดับขั้นต้น
