งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและออกแบบเครื่องมือวัดปริมาณน้ำฝน โดยใช้กรวยรองรับน้ำฝนเส้นผ่านศูนย์กลาง 8 นิ้ว และใช้น้ำแทนปริมาณน้ำฝน มีการเปิด-ปิดน้ำด้วยประตูน้ำด้านบนและด้านล่าง มีเซนเซอร์ 2 ตัว คือ ด้านบนเป็นเซนเซอร์รับรู้เมื่อน้ำฝนตกกระทบเครื่องมือวัดในปริมาณที่กำหนด
