ดอยหัวหมด เป็นยอดเขาหัวโล้นที่ปกคลุมด้วยต้นหญ้าและไม้ทนแล้ง อยู่ห่างจากตัวเมืองอุ้มผางมาตามเส้นทางบ้านสบห้วยแม่สะมุ้งประมาณ 10 กิโลเมตร แยกซ้ายเข้าไปตามถนนลูกรังอีก 700 เมตร จากจุดจอดรถเดินเท้าขึ้นไปชมวิวบนยอดดอยอีกประมาณ 150 เมตร  ภูเขาบริเวณนี้มีหลายดอย เป็นลักษณะยอดเขาเตี้ยๆ ที่ไม่มีต้นไม้ใหญ่ปกคลุม ชาวบ้านจึงเรียกยอดเขาเหล่านี้ว่า ดอยหัวหมด หรือ เขาหัวโล้น ดอยหัวหมดที่เป็นจุดชมวิวมีด้วยกันหลายดอยแต่ละดอยก็หมดๆ ทุกดอย
