การวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา การดำเนินงานการประกันคุณภาพภายในของโรงเรียนในเครือข่ายพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษา แม่อูคอ – แม่ยวมน้อย สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษา แม่ฮ่องสอน เขต 1 ประชากรได้แก่ ผู้บริหารโรงเรียน และ ครูผู้สอน รวมทั้งสิ้น 80 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถาม และทำการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการหาค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
ผลการวิจัย พบว่า การดำเนินงานการประกันคุณภาพภายในของโรงเรียนในเครือข่ายพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษา แม่อูคอ–แม่ยวมน้อย สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษา แม่ฮ่องสอน เขต1 โดยรวม อยู่ในระดับมาก เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้าน เรียงลำดับค่าเฉลี่ยจากมากไปหาน้อย คือ ด้านการเตรียมการ อยู่ในระดับมาก รองลงมา ด้านการรายงานผล อยู่ในระดับมาก และด้านการดำเนินการอยู่ในระดับมาก ตามลำดับ
ปัญหา คือ ขาดความครอบคลุมของเรื่องเกี่ยวกับการประกันคุณภาพภายในไม่ครบถ้วนทั้งรายละเอียดต่างๆเกี่ยวกับงานประกันคุณภาพภายใน การเตรียมการและการวางแผนยังไม่เป็นระบบ ครูไม่เข้าใจ ขาดงบประมาณในการสนันสนุน การมีส่วนร่วมของคณะกรรมการสถานศึกษา ขาดผู้รับผิดชอบที่ชัดเจน ครูและบุคลากรขาดการมีส่วนร่วมการตรวจสอบ ดำเนินการตามแผนและยังไม่ครอบคลุมมาตรฐาน การจัดทำรายงานประจำปียังไม่มีความสอดคล้องกับการประเมินตนเอง ข้อมูลสารสนเทศยังไม่เป็นปัจจุบัน และผู้ปกครองทราบข้อมูลยังไม่ทั่วถึง
ข้อเสนอแนะ คือ ควรจัดให้มีการประชุมงานประกันคุณภาพภายในให้บ่อยขึ้น ควรมีการชี้แจงรายละเอียดในเรื่องของการประกันคุณภาพให้ครบถ้วนทุกเรื่องที่จะต้องดำเนินการ ควรจัดเก็บเอกสารให้เป็นปัจจุบัน ให้มีการนิเทศติดตามเป็นระยะ ควรดำเนินการให้เป็นไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน และให้คณะกรรมการสถานศึกษามีส่วนร่วมในการดำเนินงาน เร่งดำเนินการรายงานให้เสร็จให้ทันเวลา ให้มีการรายงานข้อมูลที่ครอบคลุมทุกเนื้อหา และมีการแก้ไขปรับปรุงเมื่อมีกรณีผิดพลาดหรือให้ข้อมูลไม่ครบถ้วน และให้มีการบันทึกทุกขั้นตอนและเก็บข้อมูลเป็นระยะๆ
