โลจิสติกส์อุตสาหกรรม (พ.ศ.
2555-2559) กำหนดกรอบแผน
ปฏิบัติการและโครงการต่างๆ
โดยประกอบด้วย 3 ยุทธศาสตร์ คือ
1. การสร้างความเป็นมือ
อาชีพด้านการจัดการโลจิสติกส์
ในสถานประกอบการของภาค
อุตสาหกรรม
2. การส่งเสริมให้เกิดความ
ร่วมมือและการเชื่อมโยงระหว่าง
หน่วยธุรกิจในโซ่อุปทานของ
ภาคอุตสาหกรรม
3. การสนับสนุนให้เกิดปัจจัยที่เอื้อต่อการเพิ่มขีดความสามารถ
ในการแข่งขันของโซ่อุปทานในอุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมาย
ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับแผนยุทธศาสตร์การพัฒนาระบบโลจิสติกส์
ของประเทศ โดยมีเป้าหมายลดต้นทุนโลจิสติกส์ภาคอุตสาหกรรม
ต่อผลิตภัณฑ์มวลรวมภายในประเทศ (Manufacturing Logistics Cost
per GDP) ลงร้อยละ 15 และเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการจัดการโลจิสติกส์และ
โซ่อุปทานของภาคอุตสาหกรรม ขึ้นร้อยละ 10 ภายในปี 2559
จากผลการดำเนินงานส่งเสริมและพัฒนาระบบโลจิสติกส์
และโซ่อุปทานของภาคอุตสาหกรรมของกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม
โดยสำนักโลจิสติกส์ กรมอุตสาหกรรมพื้นฐานและการเหมืองแร่
ที่ผ่านมา เห็นได้ชัดว่าส่งผลดีอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทั้งต่อการเพิ่ม
ประสิทธิภาพอุตสาหกรรม และการปรับลดสัดส่วนต้นทุนโลจิสติกส์

ในปี 2555 ผู้ประกอบการอุตสาหกรรมของไทยสามารถลดต้นทุน
โลจิสติกส์ลงเหลือ 7.27% หรือคิดเป็นมูลค่ามากกว่า 4 หมื่นล้านบาท
จากเดิมปี 2554 มีต้นทุนอยู่ที่ 8.47% แสดงให้เห็นว่าผู้ประกอบการ
มีการบริหารจัดการโลจิสติกส์ที่ดีขึ้น และเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับระบบ
โลจิสติกส์ ว่าไม่ได้เป็นเพียงการขนส่ง แต่เป็นการบริหารจัดการ
กระบวนการทั้งหมด ตั้งแต่การสั่งซื้อวัตถุดิบ การผลิต จนกระทั่ง
การส่งจำหน่ายสินค้าถึงมือผู้บริโภค
กระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม ได้ตั้งเป้าที่จะลดต้นทุนโลจิสติกส์
ภาคอุตสาหกรรมลงให้เหลือ 6.5% ภายใน 3-5 ปีจากนี้ โดยกำหนด
