หลวงปู่เผือก (12 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2412

หลวงปู่เผือก (12 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2412 - 29 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2501) ท่านเป็นพระเกจิอาจารย์ที่มีชื่อเสียงของจังหวัดสมุทรปราการในยุคกึ่งพุทธกาล พระเครื่องของท่านมีอานุภาพมากมาย มีประสบการณ์ในทางเมตตามหานิยม แคล้วคลาดอันตราย อธิษฐานได้ตามความปรารถนากล่าวคือท่านสำเร็จผงอิทธิเจ ผงปัถมัง ยันต์นะเมตตา ยันต์ฤๅษี ฯลฯ ซึ่งได้รับการถ่ายทอดมาจาก หลวงปู่ทอง อายะนะ แห่งวัดราชโยธานั่นเอง ศิษย์ร่วมสำนักเดียวกับท่านได้แก่ หลวงพ่อพัก วัดบึงทองหลาง หลวงปู่ปั้น วัดสะพานสูง (บางซื่อ) และหลวงพ่อผือก วัดลาดพร้าว
หลวงปู่เผือก ปัญญาธโร ท่านเกิดเมื่อวันที่ 12 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2412 ตรงกับปีที่ 1ในแผ่นดินพระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ณ บ้านคลองสำโรง จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ โยมบิดาชื่อ นายทองสุข มารดาชื่อ นางไข่ บุญสุขทอง มีพี่น้องรวม 8 คน ท่านเป็นบุตรคนที่ 5 เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2433 อายุครบ 21 ปี ท่านได้อุปสมบทตามประเพณี ณ วัดกิ่งแก้วโดยมีหลวงปู่ทอง อายะนะ (อดีตเจ้าอาวาสวัดลาดบัวขาว) เป็นพระอุปัชฌาย์ พระอาจารย์อิ่ม อินทสโร วัดกิ่งแก้ว
เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2442 พระอาจารย์อิ่ม อินทสโร ได้มรณภาพลง ที่ประชุมสงฆ์และชาวบ้านเห็นพ้องต้องกันที่จะให้ท่านเป็นเจ้าอาวาสสืบต่อมา ขณะนั้นท่านมีอายุได้ 30 ปี และเมื่อท่านเป็นเจ้าอาวาสวัดกิ่งแก้วแล้ว ท่านจึงได้เริ่มทำการพัฒนาอาคารสิ่งก่อสร้างต่างๆ ภายในวัดกิ่งแก้วครั้งใหญ่ด้วยความร่วมมือและพร้อมใจจากคณะสงฆ์และลูกศิษย์ ต่างช่วยแรงกายและร่วมบริจาคทรัพย์ให้การพัฒนาบูรณะวัดลุล่วงไปได้ด้วยดี ปรากฏสืบมาจนถึงวันนี้ เมื่อปีพ.ศ. 2496 ท่านเริ่มอาพาธตลอดมา และ ถึงแก่มรณภาพเมื่อวันที่ 27 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2501 ในแผ่นดินพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช รัชกาลปัจจุบัน รวมสิริอายุได้ 88 ปี 67 พรรษา รวมระยะเวลาในการครองวัดได้นานถึง 59 ปี
