จากการทดลองเรื่อง Properties of aluminium foil พบว่าบีกเกอร์ที่ปิดด้วยกระดาษสีของซิลิก้าเจลมีความใสมากที่สุด รองลงมาคือบีกเกอร์ที่ปิดด้วยพลาสติก และสุดท้ายบีกเกอร์ที่ปิดด้วยอะลูมิเนียมจะมีสีของซิลิก้าเจลเข้มที่สุด
