บทคัดย่อ : การสำรวจพฤติกรรมการทิ้งขยะมูลฝอยในชุมชนหินซ้อน อำเภอแก่งคอย จังหวัดสระบุรี จากการสำรวจในชุมชนหินซ้อนพบว่ามีปัญหาเกี่ยวกับการทิ้งขยะตามท้องถนนหรือที่พื้นทางเดินต่างๆ ทำให้ชุมชนหินซ้อนไม่สะอาดและไม่น่าอยู่เต็มไปด้วยเศษขยะ ขยะบางประเภทอาจส่งกลิ่นเหม็น หรือมันเน่าเสียจากการทิ้งของประชาชนที่มันสะสมไว้หลายวัน อาจมีผลต่อสุขภาพของคนในชุมชนหินซ้อนอย่างมาก สภาพแวดล้อมก็ไม่ดีไปด้วย เพื่อสำรวจพฤติกรรมการทิ้งขยะมูลฝอยในชุมชนหินซ้อน อำเภอแก่งคอย จังหวัดสระบุรี หรือหาวิธีการแก้ไขปัญหาของการทิ้งขยะมูลฝอยในชุมชนและทำให้คนในชุมชนหินซ้อนรู้จักการสร้างจิตสำนึกให้คนในชุมชนรักความสะอาด ผลการศึกษาพบว่า คนในชุมชนหินซ้อนมีพฤติกรรมการทิ้งขยะมูลฝอยที่น้อยลง แก้ไขปัญหาการทิ้งขยะมูลฝอยได้ดี ทำให้สภาพแวดล้อมดีขึ้น คนในชุมชนร่วมมือกันทิ้งขยะเป็นที่และชุมชนสะอาดน่าอยู่มากกว่าเดิม
