บริษัท โอสถสภา จำกัด เป็นบริษัทผลิตเครื่องอุปโภคบริโภคในประเทศไทย ก่อตั้งเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2434 ในนาม "ร้านขายยาเต๊กเฮงหยู" ซึ่งนายแป๊ะ โอสถานุเคราะห์ (สกุลเดิม: แซ่ลิ้ม) เป็นผู้ก่อตั้ง เริ่มจากกิจการขายของเบ็ดเตล็ด ต่อมาได้เริ่มผลิตยากฤษณากลั่น ซึ่งมีสรรพคุณในการรักษา โรค ปวดท้อง ท้องร่วง

ต่อมาได้นำยากฤษณากลั่นทูลเกล้าทูลกระหม่อมถวาย พระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว เพื่อใช้ในการซ้อมรบของกิจการเสือป่าที่จังหวัดนครปฐม จากนั้นในปี พ.ศ. 2475 ได้ย้ายร้านขายยาจากย่านสำเพ็ง มาที่ถนนเจริญกรุง และได้เปลี่ยนชื่อว่า "โอสถสถานเต๊กเฮงหยู" และยังได้ผลิตยาสามัญประจำบ้านอื่นๆ ต่อมา พระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดช มีพระมหากรุณาธิคุณโปรดเกล้าโปรดกระหม่อมพระราชทานครุฑตราตั้งแก่บริษัทฯ เมื่อวันที่ 13 ตุลาคม พ.ศ. 2502[1]
