เรื่อง มนุษย์ยุคใหม่ไม่นิยมใช้สมุนไพรแล้วจริงหรือ?

เนื่องจากปัจจุบันการเผยแพร่องค์ความรู้ด้านสมุนไพรในรูปแบบหนังสือ หรือวิทยากรยังมีไม่มากพอที่ทำให้ประชาชนเกิดการยอมรับ ความเชื่อมั่น ในการใช้สมุนไพรและมีการวิจัยสมุนไพรในเมืองไทยมีน้อยและไม่ต่อเนื่องเพียงพอใช้ต่อยอดไปสู่ธุรกิจ อุตสาหกรรม
คณะผู้จัดทำจึงคิดว่าพืชสมุนไพรหลายชนิดอยู่ใกล้ครัวเรือนและใกล้ตัวอย่างยิ่งหากนำมาใช้อย่างรู้ทันเนื่องจากสมุนไพรเป็นสิ่งที่คุ้นเคยกับชีวิติประจำวันของคนไทยมานานและเป็นสิ่งที่หาได้ง่ายในท้องถิ่นโดยสามารถนำมาใช้ประโยชน์ด้านต่างๆมากมายหลายด้านแต่ต้องการเน้นให้ประชาชนมีความรู้ในการป้องกันและรักษาตัวเองในโรคสามัญที่สามารถรักษากันได้เอง เพื่อทำให้คนปลอดภัยจากสารเคมีต่างๆจะช่วยให้เราสามารถใช้สมุนไพรได้อย่างมีประโยชน์ต่อตัวเราเองและผู้อื่น
