รายงานการวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ ดังต่อไปนี้ 1) เพื่อศึกษาความรู้ในการเกษตรปลอดสารเคมี เพื่อคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีขึ้นของชุมชน และ 2) เพื่อให้ชาวบ้านใช้ชีวิตอย่างมีคุณภาพและปลอดสารเคมี โดยใช้กระบวนการแบบมีส่วนร่วมในชุมชน การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการผสมผสานระหว่างการทำวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการแบบมีส่วนร่วม (PAR) กลุ่มเป้าหมายเป็นชาวบ้านที่ทำการเกษตรในพื้นที่หมู่บ้านน้ำคบ หมู่ 4 ตำบลบ้านยาง อำเภอวัดโบสถ์ จังหวัดพิษณุโลก จำนวน 10 คน โดยเป็นกลุ่มที่มีประสิทธิภาพในการทำเกษตรปลอดสารเคมีมากที่สุดและได้ปฏิบัติตามวิถีชีวิตที่พอเพียงและปลอดภัยจากสารเคมี ส่วนวิธีการดำเนินการวิจัย มีการนำเสนอพื้นที่ในการทำวิจัย สร้างการสนทนากลุ่ม (Focus Group) ลงพื้นที่หาทีมวิจัยในหมู่บ้านน้ำคบเพื่อร่วมทำงานกับทีมวิจัย มีการทำประชาคม เพื่อหาประเด็นในการทำวิจัยและเสนอให้อาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาที่จะหาข้อสรุปหรือหัวข้อในการทำวิจัยครั้งนี้ ส่วนเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล โดยใช้วิธีการสัมภาษณ์กลุ่มเป้าหมายที่กำหนดไว้ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่ มีแนวทางและการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีขึ้น มีการค้นคว้าหาความรู้จากหมู่บ้านใกล้เคียงหรือคำแนะนำจากผู้ที่มีประสบการณ์จริงและประสบความสำเร็จในการทำเกษตรปลอดสารเคมี เพื่อที่จะมีการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีของชุมชนและชาวบ้านเป็นไปตามวัตถุประสงค์ ซึ่งทำให้เกษตรกรและชาวบ้านในชุมชนมีความสุขและสุขภาพร่างกายที่ดี ปลอดจากสารเคมี รวมไปถึงไม่ส่งผลที่อันตรายต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมและสิ่งที่มีชีวิต การมีส่วนร่วมของเกษตร เพื่อไม่ใช้สารเคมีทางเกษตร พบว่า เกษตรกรได้ใช้สารเคมีน้อยลงหันมาศึกษาข้อมูลการทำปุ๋ยหมักหรือน้ำหมักชีวภาพ เป็นการช่วยลดต้นทุนในการทำเกษตรและได้ผลผลิตที่ดี ยังช่วยพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตได้อย่างยั่งยืน ถึงแม้การทำเกษตรปลอดสารเคมีจะเห็นผลช้า ต้องใช้เวลา แต่ผลของการรอคอยก็จะประสบความสำเร็จและคุ้มค่า ทำให้เกษตรมีสุขภาพที่ดี ผลผลิตปลอดภัยไร้สารเคมี
