Dear Mint,



I know that your first day of school was very hard but I also know that every day will be better and better.




Not just in exchange but in your life there will be days like today where you think it is an impossible situation but you must hold your chin up and be brave and strong and push through it like a warrior wearing metal armor. If we didn’t have bad days we wouldn’t have anything to compare the good days to.




You have already accomplished so much just to get here that I know that you can do this. Another reason that I know you can do this is because we are here for you, we are your family, and we will support you everyday.




You are my daughter and I will do my best to protect you, teach you to be fearless, and to encourage you. As your American mom I am always here to listen to your worries and fears, lend my shoulder to cry on or just to give you a big hug when you get home.




Even though we haven’t known each other very long your American family already loves you very very much!





















Remember…crawfish are not pets…they are yummy, you will see ; )
