การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างและใช้แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้เทคนิคการวาดแผนภาพ เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาคณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1 และเพื่อศึกษาทักษะการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาคณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1 จำนวน 5 คน ซึ่งเรียนในภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2557 โรงเรียนบ้านทรายทอง ตำบลละแม อำเภอละแม จังหวัดชุมพร เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษาประกอบด้วยแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ เรื่อง การแก้โจทย์ปัญหาคณิตศาสตร์ โดยการใช้เทคนิคการวาดแผนภาพ จำนวน 10 แผน ใช้เวลา 12 ชั่วโมง และแบบทดสอบการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาคณิตศาสตร์ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการหาค่าเฉลี่ยร้อยละของคะแนนที่ได้จากการทำแบบทดสอบ แล้วนำมาเทียบกับเกณฑ์การผ่านที่ตั้งไว้ร้อยละ 65 นำเสนอข้อมูลเป็นตารางประกอบคำบรรยาย
