ระบำปาเต๊ะเป็นระบำที่ประดิษฐ์ขึ้นโดย อาจารย์ดรุณี สัจจากุล ภาควิชานาฏศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏยะลา ได้ประดิษฐ์ครั้งแรกเมื่อปีพ.ศ.๒๕๒๓ และได้นำมาปรับปรุงแก้ไขใหม่เพื่อนำออกแสดงหน้าพระที่นั่ง ณ พระตำหนักทักษินราชนิเวศน์ จังหวัดนราธิวาส เมื่อวันที่ ๒๙ กันยายน พ.ศ.๒๕๒๘
ระบำชุดนี้ได้นำเอาขั้นตอนการทำผ้าปาเต๊ะมาประยุกต์ดัดแปลงประกอบเข้ากับท่าเต้นรำของพื้นเมืองภาคใต้ ในการแสดงนั้นจะเริ่มจากการแบกภาชนะใส่เทียนไปเคี่ยวบนไฟจนร้อน การถือสะดึงออกมาขึงผ้า เขียนลาย ย้อมผ้า และจะจบด้วยทุกกลุ่มออกมาร่วมเริงระบำกันอย่างสนุกสนานด้วยความพอใจในชุดผ้าปาเต๊ะอันสวยงาม เครื่องดนตรีประกอบการแสดงใช้วงดนตรีพื้นเมืองภาคใต้บรรเลงประกอบการแสดง
