- พ.ศ. 2503 รางวัลที่ 2 การประกวดศิลปกรรม ณ วังสวนผักกาด
- พ.ศ. 2505 รางวัลที่ 1 การประกวดศิลปกรรม จัดโดย องค์การส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยว กรุงเทพฯ
- พ.ศ. 2528 ได้รับรางวัลเกียรติยศเหรียญทองจากสมาคมสถาปนิกสยาม ในฐานะจิตรกรผู้สร้างสรรค์ศิลปะร่วม สมัย
- พ.ศ. 2540 ได้รับเลือกจากองค์การสหประชาชาติ ให้เป็นผู้แทนวัฒนธรรมทางศิลปะภาคตะวันออกไปแสดงผล งานที่นิวยอร์ค ปารีส โรม ลิสบอน แคนเบอร่า และโตเกียว ตามลำดับ
- พ.ศ. 2544 ได้รับคัดเลือกจาก FUKUOKA ASIAN CULTURE PRIZE COMMITTEE ให้รับรางวัล Arts and Culture Prize ค.ศ. 2001
- พ.ศ. 2545 ปริญญาศิลป์ดุษฎีบัณฑิตกิตติมศักดิ์ (สาขาวิชาจิตรกรรม) จากมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร ประจำปี
