ระวัติความเป็นมาของวันวิสาขบูชาในประเทศไทย

   ฉะนั้น การประกอบพิธีในวันวิสาขบูชาในประเทศไทย จึงได้รื้อฟื้นให้มีขึ้นอีกครั้งหนึ่งในรัชสมัย พระบาทสมเด็จพระพุทธเลิศหล้านภาลัย รัชกาลที่ ๒ และถือปฏิบัติมาจวบจนกระทั่งปัจจุบัน
