จากการศึกษาทำโคมไฟไม้ไอศกรีมมุ่งศึกษาถึงความเป็นไปได้ในการนำเศษวัสดุเหลือใช้มาทำเป็นชิ้นงานประดิษฐ์ โดยนำไม้ไอศกรีมที่เก็บไว้มารวมกันจากการทดลอง พบว่าเมื่อนำไม้ไอศกรีมนำมาประกอบกันโดยใช้การติดกัน ประโยชน์จากโครงงานนี้ คือ การเพิ่มมูลค่าของเศษวัสดุ เหลือใช้ ทั้งยังช่วยลดสภาวะโลกร้อนอีกด้วยและสามารถนำไปใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน
