United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)
UNHCR is currently looking for a highly motivational and driven face to face fundraising manager, with a background in either commercial or NGO direct sales or direct marketing, to establish, lead and grow this new programme.
Private Sector Fund Raising (PSFR) is a fast growing global division with offices in 14 countries across the world. In 2013, PSFR recruited over 175,000 new individual private donors and our ambition is to quickly grow in size, scale and global reach.
Face to face fundraising is at the heart of our growth strategy, currently accounting for over 80% of new donors recruited globally each year. It is through the work of the fundraisers working in this direct sales environment that we not only raise vital funds for refugees but also build the UNHCR brand.
Face to Face Fundraising Manager (In-house)
Responsibilities
• Development of the in-house face to face fundraising programme over the first six months
• Ongoing management of the Programme including Programme Management, Reporting, Budgeting and Analysis, Staff recruitment and development, Performance management of staff and Programme Growth
Qualifications / Experience:
• Bachelor Degree (Marketing/Communications/Business Administration or related field)
• 3 years+ experience in fundraising or sales/marketing
• 3 years+ experience in leading and managing teams
• 3 years+ experience in managing large budgets/meeting income targets
• Ideally have some experience working for an NGO
