สานักการศึกษาต่อเนื่อง เป็นหน่วยงานที่ให้บริการทางวิชาการแก่สังคมในรูปแบบที่หลากหลาย และการฝึกอบรม เป็นวิธีการหนึ่งที่ยอมรับกันโดยทั่วไปแล้วว่าเป็นการพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์ที่ได้ผลและเกิดประสิทธิภาพ ทั้งนี้ สานักมีนโยบายที่จะพัฒนารูปแบบการฝึกอบรมให้มีความทันสมัยทันต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงในสังคมยุคปัจจุบัน การพัฒนาชุดฝึกอบรมแบบ e-Training เรื่อง ทักษะการสอนงานสาหรับหัวหน้างานนี้ เป็นการวิจัยเพื่อพัฒนาชุดฝึกอบรมและศึกษาผลการใช้ชุดฝึกอบรมแบบ e-Training ซึ่งผลจากการศึกษาวิจัยนี้ จะเป็นประโยชน์อย่างยิ่งต่อหัวหน้างานในองค์การ ที่จะต้องทาหน้าที่สอนงานลูกน้องให้มีขีดความสามารถในการพัฒนาผลผลิตให้มีคุณภาพสูงขึ้นตลอดเวลาอย่างหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ได้ โครงการวิจัยนี้ได้รับทุนอุดหนุนการวิจัยจากมหาวิทยาลัยสุโขทัยธรรมาธิราชโครงการบริการวิชาการแก่สังคม
