จัดขึ้นปีละครั้ง ณ วัดพระพุทธบาทราชวรมหาวิหาร ในวันแรม 1 ค่ำ เดือน 8 ซึ่งเป็นวันเข้าพรรษา
ในการตักบาตรดอกไม้นั้น จะนิยมใช้ดอกเข้าพรรษามากกว่าอกไม้ชนิดอื่น
และหาชมได้เพียงแห่งเดียวในประเทศไทย
