การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุ

การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อการศึกษาหาแนวทางและข้อเสนอแนะในการนำรูปแบบความสัมพันธ์เชิงสาเหตุขององค์กรแห่งนวัตกรรมไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการพัฒนาผู้ประกอบการวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อมให้เป็นองค์กรแห่งนวัตกรรม กลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ได้มาจากการเลือกด้วยวิธีเจาะจงซึ่งมาจาก3แหล่งข้อมูลที่มีความแตกต่างกัน นั่นก็คือกระทรวงวิทยาศาตร์และเทคโนโลยี,สำนักงานนวัตกรรมแห่งชาติ(องค์การมหาชน), และ ผู้ประกอบการวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม เป็นจำนวน 4คน ด้วยวิธีการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ การใช้แนวคำถามแบบกึ่งโครงสร้างข้อมูล ผลการวิจัยพบว่า
1. กระทรวงวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีควรนำมาใช้ในการกำหนดนโยบายในการพัฒนาผู้ประกอบการเพื่อให้เป็นองค์กรแห่งนวัตกรรม
2. สำนักงานนวัตกรรมแห่งชาติ (องค์การมหาชน) ควรนำมาใช้เพื่อกำหนดเป็นตัวชี้วัด และเกณฑ์ในการประเมินเพื่อให้ทุนสนับสนุนแก่ผู้ประกอบการ
3. ผู้ประการในประเทศไทย ควรนำมาใช้เป็นแนวทางในการพัฒนาตนเอง วิสาหกิจ รวมทั้งนำไปขยายต่อบุคลากร เพื่อร่วมกันพัฒนาวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อมให้เอื้อต่อการเป็นองค์กรแห่งนวัตกรรมต่อไป
