การก้าวเข้าสู่ประชาคมอาเซียน ในปี พ.ศ.2558 ของประเทศไทย นับเป็นก้าวสำคัญที่นำไปสู่การเปลี่ยนแปลงทั้งด้านเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และวัฒนธรรม สังคมไทยกำลังตื่นตัวอย่างมาก หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องทุกส่วนต่างหันมาพัฒนาศักยภาพและดำเนินกิจกรรมเพื่อมเตรียมความพร้อมในการเข้าสู่ประชาคมอาเซียน อันประกอบด้วย 3 เสาหลัก คือ ASEAN Political and Security Community – APSC , ASEAN Economic Community - AEC and ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community - ASCC
การก้าวเข้าสู่ประชาคมอาเซียน ในปี พ.ศ.2558 กำลังเป็นประเด็นที่ทุกคน โดยเฉพาะนักเรียน นักศึกษาให้ความสำคัญ เพราะมีผลกระทบต่อคนไทยทุกคน ทั้งด้านเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และวัฒนธรรม ทุกๆคนก็ได้เล็งเห็นถึงความสำคัญของอาเซียนที่จะเข้ามามีบทบาทกับคนไทย ในฐานะที่ข้าพเจ้านั้นเป็นนักศึกษาจึงได้จัดทำรายงานและแบบประเมินนี้ขึ้น เพื่อที่จะทราบว่าในปีหน้าที่อาเซียนกำลังจะเข้ามา ทุกๆคนนั้นคิดว่าอาเซียนนั้นจะเข้ามามีบทบาทและส่วนเกี่ยวข้องกับการใช้ชีวิตของคนไทยอย่างไร รายงานฉบับนี้จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อเสริมความรู้ ความเข้าใจและความสำคัญในเรื่องต่างๆซึ่งนอกจากจะทำให้การเรียนลุล่วงไปด้วยดี มีความเข้าใจถึงความเป็นมาและเพื่อพัฒนาการในการรับมือและนำความรู้ความเข้าใจมาใช้ในการเรียนและการดำเนินชีวิตเมื่ออาเซียนที่กำลังจะมาถึงและยังหวังว่าจะเป็นประโยชน์แก่ผู้สนใจ โดยเฉพาะเป็นการเตรียมความพร้อมเพื่อร่วมมือร่วมใจก้าวสู่การเป็นประชาคมอาเซียนของไทยอย่างเต็มตัว ในปี 2558
