สำหรับยัดห่วงหนุ่มไทยอยู่ร่วมกลุ่ม ซี ประกอบด้วย ฟิลิปปินส์, บาห์เรน, เกาหลีเหนือ และ ไทย แต่ภายหลังเกาหลีเหนือขอถอนตัวไม่ร่วมแข่งขัน กลุ่ม ซี จึงมีเพียง 3 ทีม โดยเมื่อวันที่ 30 ต.ค.ที่ผ่านมา เป็นการลงชิงชัยเกมแรกของทีมไทยลงปะทะฟิลิปปินส์
