อธิบดีกรมโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม กล่าวต่อว่า จากที่กล่าวมาจึงได้ประสานทางเลขานุการคณะกรรมการวัตถุอันตราย พิจารณาบรรจุขยะประเภทเครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้า อุปกรณ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์จากภาคครัวเรือน เข้ามาอยู่ใน พ.ร.บ.วัตถุอันตราย ประเภทที่ 3 คือต้องมีการขออนุญาต โดยจะต้องกำหนดเงื่อนไขในการนำไปกำจัดเป็นการเฉพาะและผู้ที่จะรับเอาเครื่อง ไฟฟ้าและอุปกรณ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ที่ใช้แล้วไปกำจัดจะต้องมีการขึ้นบัญชีเป็น ผู้ได้รับอนุญาตประกอบกิจการอย่างถูกต้อง เพื่อให้เกิดการจัดการที่ถูกวิธี ไม่ส่งผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพของคนในชุมชนและสื่งแวดล้อม
