การทำวิจัยในชั้นเรียน เรื่อง การพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านคำพื้นฐานภาษาไทย โดยใช้แบบฝึกทักษะสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาไทย ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนและความสามารถในการอ่านคำพื้นฐาน ภาษาไทย ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 2) เพื่อพัฒนาแบบฝึกทักษะสาระภาษาไทย ให้มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์มาตรฐาน 80/80 กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 จำนวน 16 คน ซึ่งได้มาโดยการเลือกสุ่มแบบเจาะจง (Purposive Sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลคือ แบบฝึกทักษะเพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านคำพื้นฐาน จำนวน 10 แบบฝึก และแบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนแบบปรนัย ชนิดเลือกตอบ 4 ตัวเลือก จำนวน 20 ข้อ แบบแผนการทดลองใช้แบบกลุ่มเดียว (One Group Pre-test Post-test Design) สถิติที่ใช้คือ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าร้อยละและค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
ผลการศึกษาค้นคว้าพบว่า การพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านคำพื้นฐานภาษาไทย โดยใช้แบบฝึกทักษะสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาไทย ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 มีประสิทธิภาพเท่ากับ 85.43/86.47
ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์มาตรฐานที่ตั้งไว้ คือ 80/80 ผลที่เกิดกับนักเรียนหลังการพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านคำพื้นฐานภาษาไทย โดยใช้แบบฝึกทักษะสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาไทย ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 พบว่านักเรียนมีทักษะการอ่านดีขึ้น ซึ่งส่งผลให้นักเรียนมีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนด้านทักษะการอ่านคำพื้นฐานสูงขึ้น มีค่าเฉลี่ยร้อยละ 86.47
