โรงเรียนฤทธิยะวรรณาลัย ๒ ได้ก่อตั้ง

โรงเรียนฤทธิยะวรรณาลัย ๒ ได้ก่อตั้งขึ้นเพื่อแก้ปัญหาการรับนักเรียนของสหวิทยาเขตวิภาวดี (สังกัดกรมสามัญการศึกษาเดิม) โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งนักเรียนที่เกินจำนวนจากโรงเรียนฤทธิยะวรรณาลัย ซึ่งกระทรวงศึกษาธิการได้ประกาศจัดตั้งโรงเรียนเมื่อวันที่ 31 มกราคม 2546 และรับนักเรียนปีการศึกษา 2546 เป็นปีแรก จำนวน 306 คน แต่เนื่องจากการก่อสร้างอาคารเรียนยังไม่เรียบร้อย จึงได้ฝากนักเรียนโรงเรียน ฤทธิยะวรรณาลัย ๒ ให้เรียนที่โรงเรียนฤทธิยะวรรณาลัยไปก่อน จนกว่าอาคารเรียนถาวรและอาคารประกอบอื่นๆ จะแล้วเสร็จ ต่อมากรมสามัญศึกษาได้จัดสรรงบประมาณให้ เพื่อดำเนินการก่อสร้างอาคารเรียนแบบกึ่งถาวรจำนวน 2 หลัง ภายในพื่นที่ของโรงเรียนฤทธิยะวรรณาลัย ซึ่งการดำเนินการทั้งหมดตั้งแต่เริ่มต้นการรับสมัครนักเรียนจนถึงความเตรียม พร้อมทางด้านอาคารสถานที่ ได้รับความร่วมมือและสนับสนุนอย่างดียิ่งจาก นางลัดดา พร้อมมูล ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนฤทธิยะวรรณาลัย และนางพรพิมล พรชนะรักษ์ ผู้ช่วยผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายวิชาการเป็นผู้ประสาน ตลอดจนคณะครูอาจารย์ทุกท่าน
ต่อมาเมื่อวันที่ 8 เมษายน 2546 กรมสามัญศึกษาได้มีคำสั่งแต่งตั้งให้ นายกล้าศักดิ์ จิตต์สงวน ตำแหน่งผู้ช่วยผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนธรรมศาสตร์คลองหลวงวิทยาคม รักษาการในตำแหน่งครูใหญ่โรงเรียนมัธยมวัดเพลงนนทบุรี มาปฏิบัติหน้าที่ครูใหญโรงเรียนฤทธิยะวรรณาลัย ๒ เป็นผู้บริหารโรงเรียนคนแรกของโรงเรียนฤทธิยะวรรณาลัย ๒
